This Privacy Policy explains how FableKnot (we, us) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use fableknot.in.

Information we collect

We collect the details you provide, such as your name, mobile number, email, and wedding preferences, and information generated as you use the site, such as the vendors and venues you view and the purchases you make.

Your phone number and sign-in

Your phone number is more than a contact detail. Signing in with a one-time code sent to your phone creates your FableKnot account, so your phone number is your account identity on the site, not just a way for us to reach you. Keep it up to date so you don't lose access to your saved items, purchases, and Dreamboard.

How we use your information

We use your information to deliver our services, such as vendor and venue discovery and the guides you purchase, to communicate with you over WhatsApp and SMS, to process payments, and to improve the product.

Analytics and cookies

We record basic browsing activity as you use the site, such as the pages you visit and the vendors and venues you look at. This is tied to an anonymous device identifier and, once you sign in, to your account, so we can understand what couples are looking for and improve the site. We do not sell this data to anyone.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details; they are handled directly by the payment provider.

WhatsApp communication

We use WhatsApp to deliver the guides you purchase and to send updates about your account and purchases. With your consent, we may also send you a welcome message and occasional updates. You can opt out of these at any time by contacting us.

Where your data is stored

We use trusted third-party service providers for hosting, data storage, payments and messaging. Some of them may process your data on servers outside India in the course of storing it and delivering our services to you.

Data retention and your rights

We keep your data only as long as needed to provide our services. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us at fableknot.global@gmail.com.

Grievance officer

In line with India's data protection law, we have named a grievance officer for privacy complaints and concerns. Pragya Khandelwal, reachable on WhatsApp at +91 63755 12762, is our grievance officer. We aim to acknowledge and address grievances within a reasonable time.

Your choices

• Turn WhatsApp updates on or off, or correct your details, from your profile. Guides you buy are always sent to your WhatsApp number.
• Delete your account and personal data at any time from the bottom of your profile. Records of payments are kept as required by tax law.
• Change your cookie and analytics choice any time in Cookie settings.
